Spawned out of the fiery depths of the University of Delaware underground, Tweed is the psychedelic combination dream melting jam, funk, electronica, and experimental rock. Guitarists AJ DiBiase and Jon Tomczak bring shredding riffs and groovy vibes, while bassist Paul Braden drops Chernobyl-style nuclear bass-bombs, and drummer Joe Vela meticulously formulates rhythm-induced warfare. The four joined forces in the Fall of 2010 and although young, Tweed’s music inspires and excites, fueled from lyrics provoked by experience and emotion. The group’s chemistry is evident, as they tear up stages with stellar performance and style.
